The open air performance The Lion’s Den UNLIMITED is inspired by media manipulation and populism. By bringing it into the public space and increasing the number of performers, it acquires a new dimension and intensity. It shows the social power of dance as a participatory art that expresses itself on current issues, and in a fun way too!
Pit of Lions UNLIMITED is a participatory project inspired by Sabina Bočková and Johana Pocková’s original performance Pit of Lions, which deals with themes of media manipulation and political populism. The project connects professional dancers and the general public, where the result created through a video tutorial and dance workshop is a newly created dance performance in an outdoor space for the general public. The aim of the adaptation is to give a new dimension to the original theatrical performance and to deepen the intensity of the theme. In addition to registered volunteers, the festival version of the project will also involve the junior company Ballet NdB 2. The festival’s aim is to bring the performance into the public space and to involve the Brno community of people interested in contemporary dance in the role of performers and to enjoy a time together filled with dance accompanied by live music by Lukáš Palán.

The partner of the performance is the festival TANEC PRAHA.
